Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim launched the book on Uncle Idris, "the man who could move mountains" at the seat of IAIS on December 15 2025 inn the presence of numerous admirers, companions and University students. It is to be noted that PM Anwar has authored the forward of this commemorative launch. On December 16 2025, Prof. Osman Bakar, a friend since 1998, now Rector of International Islamic University, Malaysia, welcomed the President of Alif Society in his office. Discussions revolved around the possibility of admitting Alif students for post graduate programs and the future of IIUM which has the ambition of becoming among the top World Universities.

Meeting in the office of ABIM-WADAH           The President of ALIF met the representatives of ABIM and WADAH in their office in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.The meeting was brief and during which the future of the Muslim Youth was raised. The parties parted with the promise for further meeting in Mauritius or Kuala Lumpur and to explore the avenues for co-operation.
