Hotel Burobudur in Jakarta was the venue of the international conference organised by Nahdatul Ulema of Indonesia under the chairmanship of Ustaz Hashyim. The majority of the Muslim world sent delegates to this grand meeting where Islamic Banking was the theme. Delegates visited some masjids, historical sites and Bandung where NAM was created by Sukarno, Nehru, Nasser and Tito.
