CONFERENCE ON THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE REVELATION OF THE QURAN IN ISTANBUL   On 5 September 2010 the conference Hall of Jawahara Hotel in Istanbul was the venue  of an International conference on the theme: The revelation of the Quran. ISLAMIC FINANCE CONFERENCE IN JAKARTA A conference on Islamic Finance was organised in Hotel Borobudur in Jakarta by Nahdatul Ulema of Indonesia. Theb President attended the conference with hundreds of local and International delegates.   A cultural show organised in honour of the conference delegates in Bandung. RECEPTION IN HONOUR OF THE DELEGATES BY BY THE GOVERNOR GOVERNOR ISLAMIC CONFERENCE IN INDONESIA An international Islamic conference was organised in Jakarta in August 2008 by Nahdatul Ulema of Indonesia. Its President Hashim invited the President of Alif Society to participate in the grand Jumboree of Islamic scholars. Learned Ulemas from across the world presented their papers and enlightened discussions followed after each presentation. The Asian hospitality is a wonder.     On a previous visit, the President met the former SG Ihsanoglu in Jedddah and Istanbul.                   OIC  Head of Minority Affairs                                                                                                                                                OIC Head of Family Affairs OIC Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ahmed Sengendo   VISIT TO THE HQ OF OIC IN JEDDAH The President visited the HQ of the OIC in Jeddah and had lengthy discussion with various staff members on the organisation of the conference scheduled in September 2023 in Mauritius.  The discussions led to an agreement on the modalities of then organisation and roles of all stake holders.
