DESCRIPTION:DUBAI GIRLS MEDICAL COLLEGE\, LOOTA CITY\, DUBAI.\nIn January 2016\, Alif  President\, Dawood Auleear\, was introduced to Sheikh Said Loota by Prof. Zaglool Naggar\, a famous n Egyptian Scientist. Sk Loota is a prosperous Dubai businessman\,  who runs Dubai Girl Medical School whose President is Professor Galall. \nThe President visited the University\, talked to the dean and Lecturers and then discussed about the possibility of sending brilliant Mauritian girls to study at DGMC. After long and arduous exchanges\, Sk Loota offered two seats to Alif. The offer was quite generous: The students would be offered a refundable interest free loan to cover fees\, board and lodging; however\, the recipients would have to work for Loota Hospital for which they would be paid US$3\,000/. [very generous for that time]. It is a colourful show which attracts foreigners for its display of the Malaysian culture. The importance of the event is heightened because of the presence of the Royal House of Selangor. It’s an occasion of merriment with students\, parents and friends all joining in the feast. After all certificates are remitted\, the VVIPs are treated to a meal which is honoured by the participation of HM the King.

E. Mr Ehsanoglu \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nPresident of Alif\, Dawood Auleear\, offering a gift to Dr. Halit Eren\, Director general of IRCICA \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nIRCICA\, Research Center for Islamic History\, Art and Culture\, hosted an International Symposium on 5 September 2010 in Istanbul\, Turkey. The conference brought together ministers from the OIC Member States and Observer States together with specialists from universities\, heads and members of governmental and non-governmental organisations\, and representatives of Muslim communities all over the world. The participants deliberated on the following subjects:\na. Principles\, scope\, perspective and guidelines of the Year’s program\nb. Possible events and activities\nc. Activities that are already implemented\, planned and proposed by the Member States\, national\, regional and international organizations\nd. Modalities of organisation\, implementation\, cooperation\, communication and highlighting of the results of the Year’s activities. \nA rich exhibition of Islamic Art was staged and enjoyed by the Muslim Community present. \nMr. Dawood Auleear’s request to IRCICA for a replica of the event to be staged in Mauritius was studied. Since some of paintings and scriptures were unic\, Organisers did not want to take the chance of their loss or destruction. \n

The meeting was to establish networking among Muslim organisations. The President had wanted to meet with Malaysian Universities and UPM was the only one to have acceded to our request. DESCRIPTION:COURTESY CALL ON THE RECTOR OF IIUM\nDuring his visit to Malaysia in November 2022\, the President called on the Rector of IIUM\, Tan Sri Dzul Kifly on his campus in Gombak. They prayed swalat Jummah together and had tea in his office. It was an occasion to discuss the possibility of sending Alif students to IIUM . Tan Sri Zul was as courteous as usual and offered some scholarships for post graduate studies. He added that he would try to include offers of scholarships  to Alif Society in the next budget. \n  \n  \nTan Sri Dzul is offering his book THE BOSNIAN EXPERIENCE IN MALAYSIA to the visitor.
