It was an occasion for African representatives to voice their appreciations of the Chinese intervention of Africa to uplift the living conditions of the people. DESCRIPTION:HISTORICAL MEETING AT UPM\n\n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nAbove: Signing of the MoU between UPM and ALIF \nleft: exchange of MoU between UPM VC and President of ALIF \nRight: Alif offered a gift to its host. \nIn 1998\, Dawood Auleear attended a conference organised by IIUM at the Putra World Trade Centre. The meeting was to establish networking among Muslim organisations. The President had wanted to meet with Malaysian Universities and UPM was the only one to have acceded to our request. The first meeting led to a second one when an MoU was signed between ALIF  and UPM. \nIt was the visionary mind and the generosity of the then Vice Chancellor\, Tan Sri Syed Jalaluddin Syed Salim which have permitted over 100 Mauritian students to graduate from this prestigious University. \nFor more info\, please tick here: https://alif-society.org/event/gallery-upm-convocation-friday-3-november-2017/ \n
