In 1998, I was participating in a world conference at Putra World Trade Centre organised by UMAR KASULE, then Head of Medicine at IIUM.

I had organised meetings with some Malaysian Universities.

Universiti Putra Malaysia welcomed me and I had fruitful exchanges and UPM agreed to sign an MoU to allow Alif students to study in this Malaysian Premer University.
