It’s the florist’s heyday when graduates rush to buy bouquets for the occasion

ALIF SOCIETY is invited each year to the convocation ceremony of UPM. It is a colourful show which attracts foreigners for its display of the Malaysian culture. The importance of the event is heightened because of the presence of the Royal House of Selangor. It’s an occasion of merriment with students, parents and friends all joining in the feast. After all certificates are remitted, the VVIPs are treated to a meal which is honoured by the participation of HM the King.
