On December 16 2025, Prof. Osman Bakar, a friend since 1998, now Rector of International Islamic University, Malaysia, welcomed the President of Alif Society in his office. Discussions revolved around the possibility of admitting Alif students for post graduate programs and the future of IIUM which has the ambition of becoming among the top World Universities.
