• ISLAMIC CONFERENCE IN INDONESIA

An international Islamic conference was organised in Jakarta in August 2008 by Nahdatul Ulema of Indonesia. Its President Hashim invited the President of Alif Society to participate in the grand Jumboree of Islamic scholars.

Learned Ulemas from across the world presented their papers and enlightened discussions followed after each presentation.

The Asian hospitality is a wonder. Participants were taken on field visits, sight seeing and were entertained by the Governor over a dinner.
